The arts team is looking for participants to create interactive and/or architectural installations, digital interventions, land art works and/or design pieces which have a practical side to them (sunshades, relax corners, hydration…). As it is the case with its entire programme, the festival is aiming to surprise its visitors, to make them discover new experiences, to invite them to interact with each other or with the installations on the site.
This call is addressed to all artists, architects, designers etc. from Luxembourg or the Greater Region with a certain experience in the realization of projects as described above.
The artists are selected by the FFYS ARTS team, which consists of professionals from the Luxembourgish arts and culture sector. A list of the team members can be provided upon request. The candidates will be informed until 14th April whether they have been selected or not.
Interested artists are invited to submit an application portfolio composed of:
- A CV with a portfolio
- A draft as well as a short description of the project planned for the festival :
- Technical information about the project
- Estimated budget
FINANCIAL AND PRACTICAL MATTERS

The organizer will bear the expenses of the production of the object/work (3000€ maximum and only after submitting receipts).

OBLIGATIONS OF THE ARTIST
Participating artists make sure they are available for the duration of project from the moment they apply until they are informed whether they have been selected for the project on 14th April. Selected artists can work on the festival site one week before the festival and need to finish with their project on Saturday, 5th August, at the latest. In case an artist plans to finish his/her work during the festival, he/she must inform the organizers beforehand so that the appropriate safety measures can be put in place, as the festival gathers around 7000 visitors of all ages each day.
